Central Park, SoHo, East Village
Central Park, SoHo, East Village
Is it possible to get delayed jet-lag?  Cos if so I think I got it!

Decided to try and spend a day lie a genuine New Yorker so headed off for breakfast in Greenwich Village (or the East Village,as my stock broker reliably informed me its called by locals).  Had a breakfast, bit disappointing.  Looked round shops; cool if you have the money.  I can see how it would be fun to come here if you live in NY.

Met with only pathetic results at trying to be a local I went back to ore tourist destinations.  Had a look at the Empire State Building.  Is it wrong that I wasn't impressed.  Sure it's tall, but i looked pretty run down.  The true star for me is, and always will be, he Chrysler Building.  Man I love that place!!  It didn't disappoint. Right next door was Grand Central Station.  That was also an incredible piece f architecture and the ceiling depicts a God's eye view of the stars.  Such a shame that so few trains depart from there now.  Still if they did, I expect it would look a lot crappier.

Felt the need, the need for green, so I went back to Central Park, this time to the Uptown End.  I spent so long walking round trying to find the perfect space to sit that I got stuck in Central Park.  I couldn't find my exit! Or any exit!  The biblical like quest to find a nice space to sit turned into a holy grail like mission to find the exit.  When I did, I decided that would be the perfect place to sit!  SO I did!
After that I went for some dinner.  Found a very cool Indian restaurant with a "food philosophy".  Who cars, it was tasty and cheap!  And who should walk in t share my food philosophical dining experience but Moby!  That' right, eating dinner with Moby.  I am that cool.

To much excitement for one day.  Definitely bed time!

So jealous!
Wow Vix! I'm amazed your camera lens hasn't melted with all these pictures. Safe to say though that you've certainly been taking in the sights. Take care baby.
