Brooklyn Bridge & Lower Manhattan
Managed to sleep quite well. Don't know about the American girl, with my snoring and the creaky bed. But I was wearing my oh so attractive (yes, more attractive than skin coloured pop socks) breath easy plaster. I think it also doubles up as an attacker putter-off-er; he'll take one look at that and two things will rush nto his head 1) Eww, gross
2) Surely I can find a more feminine lady, who doesn't require a snore stopper!
So, top of my things to do today list was walk over Brooklyn Bridge. So I did. It was AMAZING! You had views of all of Manhattan and Brookly, and the bridge was cool too. Definitely going to be a trip highlight that one. Plus, it was free, always a god un.

Then I headed down to the financial district. Wanted to see the big flag outside the Stock Exchange. What can I say,I was a bit disappointed with the size. Not as big as I'd imaginned!! But I did chat to some authentic Stock Exchange Dudes in their "sexy" blue jackets. He was like my own personal tour guide. Holly, I gave him your number!

At my tour guide/stock brokers recommendation I went into the Treasury where George Washington was inaugurated (free) then had an ocean cruise on the (free) Statten Island Ferry. IMMENSE! It went past the statue of liberty.
By now I was knackered so I metroed my ass back to the hostel for some illicit snoozing...
