New York Day 1
"Don't take coffee, I drink tea my dearI like my toast done on one side.
You can hear it in my accent when I talk
I'm an Englishman in New York"
As you may have gathered, I'm now in New York!...and alive!
The flight was ridiculously long, and the landing, ridiculously bumping. There was also the obligatory "comedy" male flight attendant who thought it was hi-larious to look at my immigration form and tell me it was all wrong and sing 'you're going to Guantanamo, you're going to Guantanamo!' Really appreciated that.
The hostel is nice. Very clean and it feels really safe. NEW YORK LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE IT DOES ON THE TELLY!!
New York Day 1
I've been easing myself in. Went to Central Park and had a massive wander. They sure do love their dogs, and running. Strutted down 5th Avenue, and had pizza at Times Square.
New York Day 1
Blog is not the witty rapport I was hoping, but right now I've been up for over 24 hours and I'm starting to feel the burn!
Think I've paid my dues and can go to bed now without feeling like a disappointment to the name of mid- to late-youths!

Wow!!
Well done!!! Comedy flight attendants ahoy!
Your mission is to hail a yellow cab by whistling and eat a hot dog from a stand on wheels on a corner by a subway station! And get some SATC prancing done.
Is it warm?
