Fresno is a change of opinion after spending a night there, but we did find a great place for lunch and breakfast on the main avenue called "Irene's"...excellent food and service, although their "vegetarian croissant" wasnt the best mix, but still good.

We had to drive around quite a bit to find a supermarket (outside the town), and we didn't manage to see any grocery in the town so people obviously drive out to do their shopping or spend most of their time in restaurants, etc.

We wanted to buy sufficient food and stuff for a few days in the forrest, and so we did.
Our drive took us to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park (2 parks in one). Fee $20 per car for 7 days as with all the other parks, and checked into the Centinel campground at Cedrar Grove. We arrived just in time as they will be closing the campgrounds down for winter next week.

It was quiet, sunny, clean and great showers with boiling water and lasting 10 mins each token so enough for both of us to squeeze in with one token! :-)

We just relaxed and enjoyed the evening. What a moon and starry sky.

On the news...AIG requested another 37 billion from the government and they are all over the press due to their managers organising an expensive do even with the bad times....will they recover?
