We decided to visit the brand new Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park. It has only opened last weekend, so we considered ourselves lucky to be able to visit it. We were amazed by the lovely food shops that SF has, so we decided to by baguette and Italian salami and goat cheese (now guys, please realize we have not had that kind of food for nearly a year, same goes for Sushi). We had a lovely picknick in the park, just in front of the Botanic House, a very nice white sugary building.
Actually, we saw a documentary when we were back in Belize about the massive construction of that museum. It contains a huge Aquarium, a Jungle and a Planetarium. We focused on the Aquarium and even that tool us more then 2 hours. It was breathtaking!!! Check it out: http://www.calacademy.org/
At night we opted for another take out, this time Chinese as our feet could not carry us any further but the restaurant across the street of the hotel. But, it was still very good compared to some of those other take aways we had, so we enjoyed it a lot, along with another bottle of Californian plonk!
