Quebecois for a day

Only 160 kms and we made it to Quebec where we were able to park close to the centre (C$6 for the whole day which is good price for such a touristic place).
Alas! After nearly 10 months of travelling, falling off horses, being at extreme heights and temperatures, our camera decided it was time to die on us. So sadly there are no personal pictures of Quebec from us and we have just included links. In any case we would have taken the same pictures as the ones on the links.

All in all, Quebec city is a delightful small town overcrowded with touristy things (shops, restaurants and unnecessary tour guides). It did remind us slightly of Edinburgh due to the hilly streets and the castle in the centre. A good place for a days walk.
After a good baguette lunch next to the fortress (Citadelle) we continued our path East and stopped just past Montreal at the best motel we could find (quite a few around the place that seemed to be inhabited by strip club members).
The best part: dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant in front. Cheap and cheerful!
