We bought a small cooler and keep it fresh with ice so we can now "create" our own breakfasts and avoid all the mega calorie food offered in motels. We usually have plenty of yoghourts, cereals, fruit and similar. Its great to be back in "you can buy everything you want" society....all those products we never saw for months.
Anyway, we had a short stop at Providence to have a look around. A small city, recently cleaned and with a nice canal, but still lots of dangerous looking citizens around all the place.
We have decided to spend a few days hiking and to avoid driving too many miles at Cape Cod. We had no idea what we were expecting but had heard a lot about the place. It is truly wonderful and we will include some photographs on tomorrows entry.
Artisitic Pause: need to stop writing for few seconds. There is an old man sleeping in the library and he is snoring incredibly loud. No one wants to wake him up!
We arrived at the "Shawme Crowell State Park" and pitched our tent up for the night ($14 per tent. Hot water and showers included. Good condition). As with all the campings they have a place prepared for fires and b-b-qs so we bought some good old firewood ($5) and prepared a splendid polish sausage with salad and other stuff. Excellent place to spend the night.
Apparently drinking alcohol is prohibited in the State Park, although we are sure everyone around the place was drinking beers and wine, etc with the camp fire...it seems too good to miss!
