A slow day today. We still feel our bodies recovering from the stomach bugs of Nicaragua, but getting much much better. Marcos has nearly recovered his apetite completely ("the hoover" as Veronika calls him as he tends to eat all the left overs on Veronikas plate).

Valle de Angeles is a nice calm town, which has started activating on Thursday afternoon with restaurants that were not there yesterday and a thousand and one souvenir shops for gringos (nothing too interesting in them unless you have a huge empty samsonite to carry things back home).

Its probably more expensive than other places we will place being a Gringo and local tourist haunt so we are still unsure of the real price level - certainly a bit higher than Nicaragua for the time being.

So in conclusion we have just relaxed and concentrated on seeing Spain reach the final...versus Germany. That will be a big event between Vero and Marcos next Sunday, and will test our nationalistic views... :-)

Apart from that, its been raining misereably all day long so our long walks are out of the question. We have decided to pull the plug on this town a day earlier and move on to lower heights tomorrow (Comayagua). No pictures today...
