KL Bird Park is the World's Largest Free flight Walk In Aviary and was officially opened in 1991. Located within the serene and scenic Lake Gardens, it is only 10 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur city centre.
Sprawling approximately 21 acres of verdant valley terrain, the park is divided into 4 different zones and is home to over 3000 birds of 200 local and foreign bird species.  The main feature that distinguishes KL Bird Park from any other bird parks is its concept of free flight. Entering the door of KL Bird Park is as if you are stepping into an enormous bird cage, where visitors will have chance to witness at close proximity various bird species living together as a perfectly balanced community in this semi natural environment.

Public Transport:
Public Taxi - Advisable to look for taxis that uses the coupon or meter system.
Rapid KL Bus No B115 from Kotaraya to Parlimen.
KL Hop On Hop Off DOuble Decker Tour Bus Service disembark at Station No 14 in from of KL Bird Park Main Entrance. Buses are available at every 30 to 45 minutes interval.
Commuter Train: Disembark at KTM Old Railway Kuala Lumpur Station located near the mosque and from there it is just 10 minutes walk.
