What I did
Panny's Chocolate

Finally here we are in Phillip Island. This is just at the entrance to the island, just after the connecting bridge.

We were brought to this chocolate factory that is the pride of both Phillip Island and Australia. It was started by a man called Penny. He is originally a Tamilian from Jaffna Province, Sri Lanka and came to Australia many years ago.

It originally started as a home business and then slowly expanded as a cottage industry and today it is a multi million dollar business with exports to many part of the globe.

At this centre, one would be able to taste the chocolates and it is more for the tourists to this island. You could also buy the chocolates if you like them. I tried the chocolate and it was fantastic. It just melts in the mouth.

There is also a cafe here where one can have light meals, mostly made out of chocolate. I tried the chocolate drink here and it was truly awesome. This was a brief break and from my troupe, quite a number of them did buy chocolates to take back home.

From here, we head further in to explore the rest of the island and what it has to offer us.
