Another Great Seafood Restaurant Discovered

Today was another excellent day. To track back a little, last night after watching the movie we continued with another movie and finally slept only at around 3 am. That being said, I woke up only around 11 am. My parents however woke earlier and went in time for breakfast which my brother and I had missed.

To me, it was a good nights sleep and that was my main ultimatum to achieve in this trip....a good rest. Once everyone was up it was already lunch time and we decided to go out for a good seafood lunch. This time, I let my GPS to do the thinking. In the car, I searched for food options and Garmin guided me to this restaurant called Sea View restaurant which was not too far from our earlier resort.

We arrived here in about 10 minutes and at first I was not sure if it was a good place to head as it was quite empty. Located right beside the sea, this is a Halal Chinese Seafood Restaurant and after chatting with the staffs, I was told that their main business happens over dinner.

The restaurant was huge and it could easily cater for at least 300 people at any one time. As it was quite empty, we were attended to immediately. We placed our orders and within a short time, the dishes arrived. The meal for the day was as per the photos below.

Wonderful lunch it was. Since it was past noon and we were seated by the seaside, even with the air conditioning, it was pretty hot. That was the only setback I should say as they had many doors and windows facing the sea.

If you are looking for exotic seafood items, those are also available here. Beside my father and I, the rest are not so adventurous  when it comes to food and I tried my best to keep it to the basics.

As you can see from the photos above, it was quite a number of dishes and the total bill was a mere RM 85 which equates to around USD 25 and that's definitely a good deal.

Happy with the deal that we got, we then just took a drive through Port Dickson town but the weather was just too hot and did not permit us to walk around. In fact it was much hotter than Kuala Lumpur and I reckon it must have easily been around 40 degrees Celsius. The only stop I did during that brief drive was to buy ice cream for everyone as it suited well with the heat.

Then we head back to the apartment for a good afternoon's rest, exactly as I wanted it to be.

I just wonder how can you all resist that beautiful beach. I would spend hours out there swimming instead of eating...
Doesn't any one of you like swimming? It is very strange.

Hi Popi, well honestly this beach is not for swimming, dirty and is kind of a sewage dump from all the resort hotels along the beach. In the next entry I have mentioned that and thats why we avoid the waters there as much as possible :)
