We arrived at the resort by mid afternoon and the check in was quite fast. I had already banked in the full sum due last week to secure my room and hence the only other financial transaction that took place was a small deposit of RM 100 which equals to around USD 30.
The resort lies right beside Lexus Waterhomes and was well guided with signages from Lukut town which is the neighboring town to Port Dickson. At first glance, I liked the place. The resort was clean, ample of parking, well staffed and organised. Within 15 minutes, we were allocated our apartment unit. As I had booked the superior unit, it was located on the second highest floor.
This resort does not have single rooms, the smallest unit is a studio unit which comes with an entire apartment and a bedroom. Next to it is the two and three bedroom units. Once inside our apartment, we were tremendously surprised with how well designed and neat the apartment looked.
The best part of this unit was the spectacular view from the balcony. It was fantastic as you can see from these photos. After checking that everything was in order and all the rooms and air conditioning were okay, I was pretty much standing in the balcony enjoying the view.
I was then soon joined by the rest and as the sun started setting down, the shades and colours of the sunset was a sight to behold. I have tried my best to produce some good photos here and hope that you would like them too.
Once it was dark, the entire view disappeared and all that we could here was the sound of waves and occasional flick of lights from ships at a distance and they were mesmerizing. The rest of the evening, we just relaxed in the apartment and enjoyed the Deepavali shows and movies that were playing on the satellite TV.
At about 8pm, we decided to go for dinner. Due to the travels, my parents were quite tired and we decided to just have dinner at the resort. A review of that I shall put forward in the next entry. Thank you for taking the time to read and be part of my Deepavali celebration this year.
