With that visit done, we could not do any other visits and hence decided to head for dinner. Thinking about places to try around Subang Jaya and having in mind that I wanted to avoid the common Chinese restaurants as they are commonly available in my hometown, we head to Summit USJ Mall to one of these chain outlets called Black Canyon Coffee.
They have a number of outlets here in Malaysia and it is the largest chain restaurant from Thailand. The best thing about this restaurant is that they have this value for money sets which caters meals for two onward till around eight people and it is definitely worth it.
For tonight, I ordered the meal for 5 pax. Though there were only four of us, my brother and I are good eaters and hence meal for five is just about right. The dishes that were offered as part of that package were Tom Yam Soup with Chicken, Minced Chicken with Basil Leaves, Thai Style Prawns, Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts and finally Mixed Vegetables. This comes with 5 bowls of rice and plain water. If you want to add on drinks, then just get them from the menu card. The entire package excluding the add on drinks cost us a mere RM 60 which equates to around USD 20. Good deal right?
I would surely recommend this restaurant to anyone. By the time we finished dinner, it was almost 10.30 pm. What can we do now at this time I thought and that is when it struck me that my parents have never been to i-City which is what the next entry is all about. :)
