Okay, I'm not really miserable...but this is the time of year when we start to count every day until the end. Most of us even have this really cool Excel spreadsheet called "the Donut of Misery", that counts your time left here down to the last second. I'll try to attach it in my picture section. Today I have completed 5774 hours and have 585 hours to go....or three and a half weeks. If I think about like...."two more paychecks", it sounds like alot less time. Anyway, I'm trying my best to keep positive and remind myself that it's really not bad and I actually like it down here--but right now it feels like waiting for Christmas when you're a kid.

I like my new job working in the Crary Lab, it's a nice clean building and it's actually humid in here. Basically I find whatever the science groups need to do their work. Yesterday I got to go to Cape Evans which was pretty cool to see. The hut looks exactly as it must have almost 100 years ago.

I never wrote a Winfly entry...but it has come and gone and the eggs and fruit are already gone (I'm such a complainer these days). Why can't we have enough good food to last for more than a couple of weeks??? Ron and I did get some cool stuff in the mail--he got three seasons of old Star Trek episodes and I got my Cane Toad movie.

My next entry should be from beautiful New Zealand, where my best friend and her boyfriend are meeting us to spend two fun-filled weeks with us (we're spending a whole month). It's gonna be SO MUCH FUN!!!
