It's almost time for Ron and I to leave. It's been a long six weeks. There have been a few parties, events etc. We went to the Match Game, the Winter-Over Social, Trivia Night at Scott Base, a Zimmerman Brothers Concert and the Carp Shop Party. All of them were a great time. Even with all the fun going on, I am still sooooooo ready to get out of here.

One week left before we get on the plane...hopefully. There are already three flights backed up and the words "indefinite delay" have come up. It's great when you're in Christchurch and the flights get delayed (you get pay and per diem daily to do nothing), but when you're waiting to get out of here, it's not so good.

I'm including some random pictures--one being the Chad is Rad picture. Chad is a friend that had to leave early (against his wishes....see www.bigdeadplace.com for details, explained under the Frontierwatch section), so he didn't get to winter with all of us. When I came across the "Chad is Rad" t-shirt on the internet, it seemed like a great idea to order them and have our picture taken for him.
