The start of my journey couldn't have been better. When I got to my seat in the spacious cabin of the Cathay Pacific A340 in Amsterdam, I knew it. This IS the way to do it: Business Class around the world. The seat was really a pod. I could curl up comfortably in it or stretch out as far as I wanted. Grrrreat! After some champagne, the food came. Some foie gras, then a steak. Pity, no beluga caviar. :-( The real treat came hours later when everyone was asleep. :-) 11 kilometers above Novosibirsk, I was treated to the most divine wonton noodle soup!! Seriously, if anyone flies Cathay Pacific in Business, you have to try their wonton noodle soup snack. Then washed it down with a superb Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. And as I looked out the window and saw the star-studded sky, I spotted a few shooting stars. Not hard to guess what I wished for. Wow! How did I get here? That's another story I guess but I'm glad I'm here, that I decided to push ahead and do this. Here's to me! Cheers! :-) This wine just keeps getting better!
I'm at the lounge in a rainy, gusty Hong Kong now. On to Kuala Lumpur in 15 minutes.

Zo keith, jij hebt het goed voor elkaar zeg. Daar kun je wel een website van maken. Ik kan zo heerlijk met je meegenieten. Alsof je me een beetje meeneemt op reis.
