Took a trip to Bonn today, West Germany´s former capital! I thought it would be this huge grey city, but it was very pretty with an old town centre, ancient stone city wall and of course Beethoven statues and the house where he was born! Eddie loved seeing his actual pianos, violins and even the ear horns he used to ´listen´to his music when he became deaf! There was even a lock of his hair!!! Eddie read the actual sheet music Beethoven composed, complete with scribbles!!!
We had a most delicious vegetarian lunch too!!! It was a veg cafeteria and we loaded our plates with about 20 different dishes, hot, cold, salads and payment was by weight!!!
