After our IKEA outing we headed to Alnarp. This town is situated outside of Lomma and is mostly made up of the local agricultural college and also a small castle. It is crazy to see so many of these buildings that still exist to this day being used as other types of structures. In this case that castle houses class rooms at the college. We walked the grounds and saw this huge 300 year old tree that had fallen during a storm. Instead of chopping it up they built a bridge over it so you can walk over the remains. Parts of the tree had been cut to use dendrochronology to recall the weather and history of the area.
