I'm back in Sweden...HOORAY!!

After departing not so sunny California I traveled via Air New Zealand (Yes, I understand New Zealand is no where near Sweden, but Kiwis have to fly too) and sat next to a lovely couple from New Zealand on their way to Europe for vacay abroad. I give Air New Zealand a thumbs up for service and everyone was really nice. Plus I didn't have to upchuck, so an extra star for keeping the plane on an even keel. Good times all around. Didn't get much sleep due to the fact they turned on the lights in accordance with our destination time in London.

I arrived in London around lunchtime and saw a sign that said EAT. Heathrow Airport
Heathrow Airport
So I did. I always hear such horrid things about English food. I am not sure why, but I took the safe bet and had a sandwich and a coke. I plan on trying coke everywhere, because the sugar and the water in different countries always makes it taste different. I like Pepsi better than Coke in Mexico. Stuff like that, but anyway the Coke was drinkable and the sandwich edible. And waited the three hours until my next flight. During that time I found a nice leather couch (finding comfortable furniture in airports is key to survival) to read a novel and played peek a boo with a little girl that was wandering away from her parents and I would entertain her with funny faces and she'd try to grab my attention as I read. I soon switched to a Surfer Magazine so that I could show her all the nice pictures.

Off I went again to cross another body of water this time a short 2 hours flight from London, Heathrow to Copenhagen, Denmark on Scandinavian Airlines. I sat next to a Danish man. It was weird to hear a Scandinavian language spoken again, but it was comforting. I grasped the important parts of the announcements so all was good. I arrived in Copenhagen in the later afternoon breezed through passport control, and retrieved my expertly packed luggage. Relief when I made it through. No problems.

So now I am here....traveling gets easier once you do it. Some people can go crazy for 10hrs on a plane the same recycled air being blown in their faces. Dehydration setting in and skin parched from the artificial environment. But I recommend it wholeheartedly. Because you can't go far unless you do.
