We left Cedar City about 9:30am and drove to Zion National Park which took under an hour.  We parked in the Visitor Centre and caught the free shuttle around the park which was really good - they come about every 7 minutes so you're never waiting too long.
We did a couple of short walking trails - Zion is beautiful.  There are lots of pinky/white rocks, the river runs through it and it's also very green.  It was about 95 degrees so we melted a bit but icecream helped us cool down!  We explored Zion for a while and left about 2:30pm.  We started driving towards Bryce National Park and stopped at a place called Panguitch which had a lovely motel.  After check in we went in search of food and found a place that did veggie spaghetti.  Off to Bryce NP tomorrow!
