Well we are here, another adventure! They say that 'Freedom is a road seldom traveled by the multitude' but in Bankok it is like their version of the concrete jungle.

The food is excellent here but I found this city very hard to get around. Everyone of my friends told  me that t was just another crowded city. But the nice part is the people, very sweet and kind. I found that very refreshing coming from the western world especially South America. The people are still for the most part poor and taxi cabs ready to take advantage  of 'Farangs' (foreigner) as much as possible but im used to that.

Ive been researching and talking to people about going south or north, I believe South has the prettiest beaches so in four days I go to pattaya with a buddy I met while down here. A wing man so to speak.

Stay tuned.....V

You've done some traveling my brotha. I've read your blog starting when you went to Peru. Now you are in Thailand. Be sure to give us your impression of Thailand. Additionally, I'm a brotha that is moving to Cuenca Ecuador. My first choice was Medellin. I kind of chickened out because of the higher crime rate in Medellin vs Cuenca. How do you compare Colombia to Ecuador?

ok, cool, Cuenca to medellin colombia. Ive gone to several other cities in Ecuador but not cuenca. I livied in Ecuador for 9 months so I feel confident about my comparisons. The comparison is that there is no comparison! The infrastructure in medellin colombia is outstanding, really. Its the first and only country in Colombia where you can drink the water straight from the tap. There is a metro train. The women are the most beautiful in the world. Thats no exagerration. While cuenca is more tranquil, I think you should at least visit medellin. The crime is in Bogota, which is the capital. Medellin has some crime but 'dont believe the hype' of the news its just like any other city. The crime is in the jungle with the farc and usually never touches medellin as the city of medellin is ' the crown jewell' and best city in colombia. Ill be back there in June. I have a residency there.

Hope this helps.....
