Today, luck was on our side...

We picked up a taxi just before 7 and got him to take us to Tica Bus who had a 7:30 bus to Nicaragua, which we thought we'd try and get on. And we did. Super!

So now, after a 7 1/2 hour bus ride and a easy border crossing, we're in our 4th new country for the trip. Nicaragua! We're staying in Rivas tonight, pretty much on the coast of Lake Nicaragua which is HUGE. From here we can see Ometepe Island where we're heading tomorrow for a few days of R&R. The island has two volcanos on it and even from here they look impressive...
