Left Bocas on the 8am boat to Almirante. Boat trip went smoothly and it was no problem getting a shared taxi to El Cruse where the bus to David was waiting for us. Perfect.

So we arrived at David around lunch time which was great. Did the town in the afternoon and then today we went up to Boquete. Boquete is a cute little town up in the mountains near David. The centre of the town is nothing special, but the area around is really beautiful. We took a walk along the river down to a bridge 4-5km south of town. Really nice walk along a dirt road - reminded quite a lot on NZ actually.

Ate lunch at a Peruvian restaurant - Machu Picchu - and had a great steak. Mmmm... meat - it's been a long time since we had a steak.

Tomorrow we head back into Costa Rica. Up to Palmar Norte ready for our trip down to Osa Peninsula.
