Today we slept in a little late and decided to start with lunch in Montmarte ( a area in Paris that has a lot of artists) and visit the Moulin Rouge. Took a cab ride to the to the Sacré-Coeur Basilica (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) a Roman Catholic basilica and popular landmark in Paris, France, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

After taking pictures of the Basilica we walked around the small people crowed streets and window shopped the stores. At the bottom of the hill found the main street where lots of busy people were and the Moulin Rouge (French for Red Windmill). Along the street there are lots and lots of sex shops and shows. We were there during the daytime so I can only imagine what it is like at night.

Across from the Moulin Rouge there was a little white train that for 6 Euros it will take you on a tour of Montmarte, it's a hop-on hop-off type of train. We took the train back up and got off at the Basilica and found an artist that did charcoal drawings and a flee-type market where other pictures and paintings were being sold. After my friend had a drawing done of herself we had lunch at this cafe that had song lyrics on the wall from well know singers. Before taking a ride back to the hotel I purchased some wine to take back home and the salesman was able to wrap the bottles in bubble wrap, which I was thankful for.

Another great dinner at a cafe and another look around Paris before we leave for home tomorrow.
