We had planned to leave by about noon, but just couldn't do it. We were having such a good time with Fly that we just hung around. We went to lunch with her at a local restaurant and then finally headed out at about 3pm.
We made good time and arrived in Harrisburg in the early evening. We visted an outlet mall and drove around a little and then we went to our hotel. (NOTE: One irritating thing we kept finding during our roadtrip was that any local maps with extreme closeups of the area were way out of proportion. Roads would be much shorter than they appeared on the map and roads were mislabeled, which made a miss a few turns. We found things to be the same in Harrisburg, with streets misplaced.)
The hotel was ok but the room had a decidedly musty smell, as if it hadn't been used recently. Rhobyne has seen a steak house sign so we decided to have a steak dinner that night. When we finally made our way to the restaurant, turned out they had about an hour wait! They did have a phone line you could call to wait in line virtually. We got number for our spot in the line and then decided to drive around town. We didn't drive far and were looking for downtown Harrisburg as we had heard it was beautiful... we never found it 'cause it got so dark and our hour just flew by. We saw some really interesting old cemetarys, the tombstones so old and worn that you couldn't read the names on them. We never did stop to check them out closer - 'cause like said, it was getting dark and hell no! - but we just didn't get a chance the next day.
We made it back to the restaurnt where we had to wait another 10 minutes, but then had a pretty good dinner.
We headed back to the hotel and watched some tv and got to sleep.
