We figured since we couldn't find good seafood, the guys should try to get some themselves! Originally I planned on going, too, but then 5:30 rolled around and there was a thunder and rain storm going on from the evening previous, so I thought I should stay back.

The guys did catch a couple of massive sailfish, but I'd have to say they're not my favorite fish sauteed with what was left in the fridge at the resort - onion, bacon, garlic and lime.  Sounded good at the time, but not so good on the execution.  I guess we'll have to take everyone's word for it that they are good fish to eat.

Our taxi driver, Adan, booked the boat trip as well and got us a great price.  He was our personal tour guide and travel liaison the entire week.  If you are in Acapulco, you can give him a jingle to see if he's around to help you out as well:

Back in the US now and it's raining here, too.  What the heck?!  It was beautiful, finally, on the last day of the short trip but they said that the best time to go to Acapulco is in February since the rains can linger into late January...point taken.
