We are on the road again! We left our campground in NC around 11:30 and we're now heading North towards Johnson City, Tennessee. We were both really sad to be leaving the Smokey Mountain area. I have a new found liking and respect for southern accents and southern hospitality! Everyone around were soo nice and helpful (such a change from the Southern Florida crowd)! The last few days have been really relaxing consisting of reading, walking, biking, campfires, sunsets and a few glasses of wine! The weather up in the mountains was gorgeous (except for a brief shower Friday night). I saw some of the most gorgeous sunsets on the mountain top the last couple of nights.. Really truly breathtaking! We've marked down our favorite campsites and we will DEFINITELY be back in the future.

The bus, thus far, has held up pretty well and Tim and I still have our heads screwed on pretty tight so all is well as we begin our next leg if the trip up North. The bus is such an eye catcher and conversation piece! You would not believe the people that come up to us and ask questions about it.. It has surely attracted some attention! I hope it treYs us well for the rest of the way! Our plan is to take route 81 all the way to PA then hop on 84 to head up to Tim's hometown area. 81 has got to be the most boring road in the world, but I will be happy to be able to kick back on flat highway road and not have to worry about the bus konking out on us on a steep mountian road (perhaps I shouldn't speek so soon though)!
