The flight over from Wellington to Nelson went smoothly despite the brisk wind on takeoff. It turned out nice to arrive there as it cut an hour or so off our drive to Collingwood. The drive was quite nice with a stop for lunch at the entrance to Able Tasman park. What a beautiful park. We didn't have much time to tramp around there but it is on the list for next time. Then on to Collingwood where we had reservations at a lovely B&B where the hostess made us feel quite at home. I will say that the talk of New Zealanders being friendly most definaly is true! We took a lovely walk around Collingwood which is right on the ocean. It was a little blustery but we still made it to the Rosy Blush chocolate shop (a must) and had a nice walk along the beach. Of course we needed to stop at a little stream inlet for Steve to create a lovely diversion cut which redirected everything.

The weather turned bad about the time we got back to the B&B so we finished the time before dinner reading and talking to the hostess. Dinner was a relaxed affair at The Courthouse.

Yes yes I know, no pictures. We are at a Kodak store that doesn't have usb hookups. Maybe tomorrow?
