The train to Pisa was pretty easy and took about an hour. We checked our bags in the train station luggage room then walked through Pisa to get to the Campo dei Miracoli (translated as the "Field of Dreams"-- corny).
Easily the best part of Pisa was the other tourists. There were people with their hands up staging pictures pretending to hold the tower as far as the eye could see.
The Campo dei Miracoli also included a nice cathedral that we wandered around and took pictures of for a little while. Then we booked it back to the train station, retrieved our bags, and hopped on the direct train to Genoa. Two hours is definitely plenty of time for Pisa-- it is literally the tower, the church, and a tiny little town that looked like a less charming version of Pistoia. Definitely worth the stop over though. I'll post about Genoa right after this entry so keep reading if you are interested. Ciao!
