Mr grumpy who tried to fleece me at the hotel was not happy that I had not used his services so told me I owed him 30 rupees for a cup of Chai that he offered me when I booked in. Normally one pays 5 or 10 rupees. After arguing with him he suddenly couldn't understand or speak english. threw the money at him and then gave him one of my Travel Corrospondant' business cards and told him his crappy hotel and attitude would be spread all over the internet. He tried to give my money back and I wald out. 30 rupees is less than 5 rand.

I know have from 7.30.am till 11.30pm till my train to Nagpur leaves. Wandered around Bibi Ka Maqbara which is like a mini taj Mahal. There is no where just to sit. Passed a few hours and have spent the the last 2 in the internet cafe and it is only 2pm. still a while to go.

Not sure how long will stay in Nagpur but from there will head to Varanasi and then onto Darjeeling. Hopefully some peace and quiet because the noise is driving me mad. Need some chill time

Thanks for sharing Angus. At these hotel prices maybe you could run to a day room next time this happens :-)
