I just needed to share with the world the fact that I have finished my last assignment of the semester, which is quite possibly the last academic paper I will ever have to write in my life!!!!! It felt like the never-ending assignment, way less exciting than the movie "The Never-Ending Story". I was having such trouble getting it done. I ran out of things to say - it's like I hit this mental wall. But now I have successfully cleared the final hurdle between me and my Master's degree! And I can turn my attention to enjoying my last few days in Sydney, celebrating my birthday, getting excited about my trip to NZ, and packing up all my crap. Wait, that last part isn't gonna be fun. I still feel like I'm quickly running out of time to get everything done, but at least the weight of my uni assignments has been lifted from my shoulders. Now I can go crank up Hey Ya! and do the dance of joy in my room. And when I have dinner tonight at a Japanese BBQ buffet restaurant with my uni friends, I can finally drink the celebratory bottle of Lucy's Run rose wine that I bought in the Hunter Valley and had been saving for this exact joyous moment. Life is good.
