Today started in a similar fashion to Thursday except that we omitted breakfast at Chef Mickey and instead headed straight to the park. Inside we indulged in a character breakfast at the Plaza Inn, providing us with the opportunity to be photographed with Minnie and Mulan as we dined. As a result we didn't get out to the park itself until after 11am, which we noticed was busier than the previous day. This affluence unfortunately meant that we faced longer queues, so our first action was to grab some FASTPASS tickets for Space Mountain.
To fill the 30 minutes until our ride window openned we took a spin on Buzz and a whirl on the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups.
One ride on Space Mountain and we were hooked; we had no choice but to ride it again using the single rider line. This trend continued for the next few hours: Space Mountain rides using FASTPASS and Single Rider mixed in with Philharmagic, the Jungle River Cruise and Buzz.
We had a late lunch at the Royal Banquet Hall and also caught the start of the parade. A bit of time was spent browsing the park's shops and snapping up some attractive head wear at a stall in Fantasyland.
Unfortunately the queues for the Autopia and Stitch Encounter exceeded our tolerances so we didn't get to experience them again.
By the end of the day I had achieved Level 6 on Buzz (there a 7 levels) and we had ridden Space Mountain around 30 times - we've lost count of the actual number.
Our day was once again topped off with the Disney in the Stars fireworks, which thankfully included the search lights that were absent on Thursday.
To add to the experience we were asked to pose for photos with 2 seperate families that couldn't speak english and I was asked where one could purchase my hat.
After the fireworks and photos our stay in the park was not over as we still spent an hour stretching the credit card on Main Street. It was another wild walk back to the hotel before some more browsing at the hotel shop and a small dinner from Hollywood and Dine.
