In the afternoon we watched the crew doing their safety drill and enjoyed the time on deck. The "board boutique" was open this afternoon so we bought some nice souvenirs. At the tea time this afternoon we had delicous apple strudel with vanilla sauce. We took an extra big bite for Mami!
Then I thought it was time to do some excersise and joined the "walk a mile group". When you walk 10 times around the deck you have 1 mile. So following Lisa our leader we did our rounds.
Good thing we did not book a suite, otherwise we would have to clean up for the visitors :-)
Some general information:
Yes, the ship is moving. You can constantly feel it. But it is a very smooth movement and (so far) we did not get sea sick.
They say when you have ship movement it is best to regularly eat something to always give your stomach something to do. This is a good excuse for us, because on this ship you can always find something to eat and it is always delicious. So we eat a lot.
But, there is 2 ways to go against the extra kilos:
- join the walk a mile group
- use the stairs (there are no lifts anyway): there are so many stairs in all kinds of shapes and lenghts
