Vietnam (Cambodia) day one

Man did this morning came sooo early. I got up and had to pack and eat something so quick. Kim was feeling pretty rough. We took a bus to the airport and took off on our plane. In the airport however I had a little scare. I thought I had lost my passport because I left it on a store counter when I was checking out but luckily I found it. Then on the plane it was so funny because Katherine was freaking out. I thought she was going to have a heart attack because of the turbulence. Upon arrival we checked into the hotel and quickly headed to the national Museum. It was a bit overrated if you ask me. There was just a lot of Buddha and there was a pretty garden however in the middle. Then one of the coolest things happened. It started to downpour. It was so intense. The water in the road was like two feet deep in about 20 minutes. I had heard it was monsoon season but hardly expected this. It was so fun to watch the kids running around. It was like playing in a pool to them. The water was dark brown and pretty gross but some of the kids were wondering around nude. I thought that some of the cars would stop but they went right through with out even hesitating. I got a little nervous because it looked as though some were going to hit the children playing in the water. After that we were suppose to take a cruise along the river but we didn't because it was flooded so we headed back to the hotel. We had the night off. Kim went to the casino with some of my friends but I just chilled in the hotel and watched movies with some of the other kids. It was fun. I think that missing the boat ride was worth seeing the kids play in the rain and how quickly it flooded.
