Singapore day Three

Today was so relaxing. I got up and went on a cable card to Santosa. It was a like gondola over the ocean to the island so it was really cool. We got some good pictures of the boat and the city from the air. When we got there we just wondered around. There was a huge statue of a merlion which is like the symbol of Singapore. We went on this Cinemania ride. It was cool but it jerked you around like crazy. Then we went to underwater world. It is like a big aquarium. There was this tunnel where you stood on a moving walk and the tank was all around you. That had to be the coolest part. Next stop was lunch. Maggie and I went to one of the hotel restaurants. It was really good. That afternoon Maggie wanted to head back and rest for Malaysia and because I knew there were other SAS kids on the island I decided to stay and hang spend some time alone. After all, this is probably the only port where it is safe enough to do that. I went first to the beach. It was so pretty. Man I decide forget Hawaii if I want beach I am going here. It was just as pretty and the water was clear. I think it would be cheaper overall. The best part is you feel like the beach is empty. You only saw like a couple of people every once in a while. The only bad part is no surf if that's what your into. Next I went to the most southern point of the Asia continent. It is pretty cool to say I have been there. It was like a wobbly suspension bridge out to the point and then you climbed up this tower like things. As I looked out I could even see Malaysia. I then went to the animal encounter area. I held so many cool things. I held a parrot, a huge snake, and a big lizard type thing. I had so much fun. Then I walked down to the dolphin lagoon to catch a show. It was pretty cool because I have never seen dolphins do a performance. These were pink dolphins to. Although I didn't want to it was time to head back. I did not want to cut it close because if I was late I would get dock time and miss my trip to Kuala Lumpur. It was however a great and relaxing day.

Sentosa
Lizzy,

When I lived in Singapore, a ship hit a gondola on its way to Sentosa. People fell from the sky into the water. I quit riding the gondola to Sentosa then.

I am so glad you liked Singapore. It is one of my favorite places in the world. We used to take a bumboat out the outlying islands and spend the day at the beach.

I have great pictures of when I used to take Will to the zoo in Singapore when he was a baby.

Your mom had a great time on her trip. I am so jealous.

Joanna
