Vietnam day 5
Today was our last day in Vietnam. Although my sisters and val bailed I went with Hannah and my mom to the Mekong delta river. I had a lot of fun. First we went on this like twenty seated motor boat ride up the river. We came to a point where we switched to a smaller boat so that we could head up this canal. At the end of this canal was a coconut candy factory. It was really cool. We got to see them make it completely from scratch. I bought a couple of packages to share with everyone at home. We also got to try honey tea right from the honey farm there. We toped it off with rice wine which is a local liquor. After this we took the boats up to one of the other islands. We went on a walk through the wooded area to a little restaurant thing. Here we had local five local fruits. We started with pineapple, then dragon fruit, then papaya, and we ended with two fruits what I didn't know what they were called one was like spiky. Then we went for lunch. It was not to appetizing but the gift shop was cool. We then headed back to the boat for my last hours with the family. We had dinner together and just chilled because they were checking out of the boat at 7pm. Then I just went to a bar close to the boat. And Maggie got home, who I missed a great deal and we sailed once again out to sea.
