The home of Country Music, Nashville

There are loads of live music venues on Broadway and Bourbon Street so we stopped in at The Stage on Broadway and had a pint while listening to some local music. For dinner we ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe and then decided to head on back as we had to drive to Knoxville the following day.
We could have easily stayed another day in Memphis but we had to get on the road again. Nashville was a one night stop over (along with Knoxville) on the way to Washington D.C. We ended up arriving at about 13:00 so we dropped off our stuff, had some lunch at Arby's and drove into the centre and ended up going to the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. It was interesting to look around and since it is a form of music we aren't so familiar with there was a lot of new information to take in. After spending a couple of hours looking around we headed outside and saw a bridge (Shelby Street Bridge) so we took a mosey over and saw the Titan's Stadium. The river front was beautiful and the town was buzzing as it was a Friday night and Greenday were in town playing a concert.
