Today was by far one of the longest days of my life. Like I mentioned before we got to Toronto but we missed the first flight to LA so we went to the lounge and grabbed a quick meal. For all of us it was the only thing we had eaten that day other than a poached egg for breakfast. Tim had a free upgrade to first class and used it for beryle's seat. Anyways we boarded the plane and it was almost empty, but Erin got on a realized that she was missing something, her suit case! She managed to run off the plane and grab it, while only being yelled at once. On the plane it worked out that everyone got a whole row to themselves! So that plane ride was great. We got to watch movies and stretch out or legs for five hours. Then we landed in LA, and let me tell you, for a city with a lot of rich people, their airport was quite an armpit. With the use of some skill and an Elite pass, my dad was able to get us into the air Canada lounge for about an hour (even though out next flight wasn’t with air Canada). We finally boarded the plane at 1:30 am LA time, which is about 3:30 am our time, not to mention none of us had gotten more than 30 minutes of sleep that night. So that was our last flight and it was over five hours long and it was crowded and definitely the least comfortable flight of the day. Most of us managed to get about two hours of sleep on that plane ride. We landed in San Jose at 7 am their time (I don’t have a clue of what time it was for us) we went thought customs, grabbed our suitcases, and exchanged money with ease with only a minor heart attack about losing our customs forms on the way out (we found them, they were hidden somewhere in my dad’s bag). On our way out there was a huge crowd of people all holding signs with names on them or wanting to give us a ride. We spotted a man holding a sign saying "Timothy Joseph Upton" and we knew that was our guy. That was the adventure of getting to San Josť.

Tim upgraded Beryle to first class and left you two in the back? Someone is going to find a lump of coal in his stocking on Christmas morning!

I have been through the LA airport before, coincidentally while I was on my way back from Costa Rica about 15 years ago. My impression then was the same as yours now. meh. :-/
