First stop in Oz. Bit of turbulance on the flight over, more from something I ate than adverse weather conditions. So we decided to take only a short incursion into our drive down to Melbourne, and stopped in a pretty, quaint seaside town just south of Woolongong.

Kiama (where "ki" is pronounced like the start of KAYak)is famous for its blowhole, but the ocean was pretty quiet, so not much action there. So we drove up to the hills and took a look at the beautiful scenery of the Illawara escarpment.

Also we had our first barbie experience. Despite being only an electric hotplate Andrew still managed to give everything a chargrilled taste - just like home! Also we had a friendly local duck come to visit while cooking, but it seemed a shame to cook him, so we fed him instead.
