Once in town, we were dumped in a hotel and given a load of beers and it was time to get to know the others, but I couldn't drink, I needed to remain calm, or there would be a chance that I would lose it later, so I stuck to Sprite and water. On the other hand, the other people seemed ok !!!
Not long after, we had lunch
After we ate, it was time to see what this place had to offer. All around were Issy lovers, so the only thing to do was find the local Mosque. As there were no minarets, I attempted to question some of the locals
Me - Where is the Mosque
Them - What is a Mosque
Me - Where is the Masjid
Them - Ahhhhh, the Mosque, why did you not ask? Are you a Muslim !!!
With the info given, off we went. Actually, it's the biggest and whitest building in town. Once in, I gave a couple os Asalum alikums, and I had free access. There was a mihrab, very plain, just part of the wall, the minbah was tiny, but realistically, the locals were quite small, so it would not have needed much for the local Imam to tower over the people !!!
We walked the streets a little more, but really, there isn't much to Bima, so we went back to await the call.
At 18:00, it came, and off we went to the dock, to finally begin the diving part of the trip.
