There is an old saying. Don't believe everything that you read.
My parents were ten pound Poms. Because of this, I was lucky enough to be born with two passports. One Australian, and the other British. Some people have dreams of being like me, but personally, it pisses me off. Why? Well, I think my parents fucked up. I believe that they should have picked the States. Oh to be born an American, it has been my life long dream, so as I am not, I have done what George would like every good American to do. And that is to do the opposite of the Kyoto agreement and to bring the world down !!! In fact, I am doing my best at making the hole in the ozone larger by getting on as many flights as possible, and today, I am celebrating my 150th.
A few facts
I have flown into The UK 62 times.
The next closest is Germany with 14, followed by Thailand with 12.
London is my most flown in/out city.
I average 3.66 flights per year.
My first flight was when I was 13.
By the end of the year, I will be up to 165 and my average will be up to 4.02.
In 2003, I took 24 flights. At present, I have taken 19, but by the end of the year, I will have flown 34 times.
When I was 37, I flew 26 times. This year, at the age of 41, I have flown 15 times, but will be up to at least 30 before I turn 42.
I'm doing my bit, are you doing yours ???

Keep flying the flag(s)
Hi uncle davros,
I wouldn't worry too much,
DEFRA calculates an average of 0.15kg CO2 per kilometer per passenger on short haul flights. Short haul flights are less than 1000 kms (London Madrid). Lets average it at 800kms each way (1600kms as you always return) as many of your recent flights were shorter than this. Although some flights have been longer, these in turn are more efficient, meaning less CO2 per km
1600kms*0.15kgs/km= 240kgs per passenger
240kgs * 150 flights = 36,000kgs each
36,000kgs each is
the weight of a pair of female Sperm Whale, naturally the male Sperm is much bigger
or the weight of two AMX 30 French battle tanks
or 6 Tyrannosaur Rex
If you think it through and compare the value of your CO2 contribution to the above, you win hands-down.
Would anyone really miss ANOTHER female Sperm whale. I know I barely notice them when they're there.
French battle tanks are useful as transport to the surrender site, store relatively little cheese, but can hold a lot of baguettes in the barrel.
As for the T. Rex, they're not in the Bible, never got on the Ark and so deserve to be stuck on that island with Jeff Goldblum.
Keep flying mate. The asteroid will get us before we cook\drown\starve anyway.
