Once the Sampai Jumpa had docked, we made our way back to the non-Jewish hotel that we had stayed in before we left to go on the yacht. Air-conditioning was a delight. It was also hard to get our legs together. After ten days at sea, both mine and Lucy's legs and head were still swaying. It wasn't an enjoyable experience. I thought I had land-sickness. Dave was still down for the count, so we placed him in a room with Bennet. As he is Swiss, has a red cross on his passport and has been in the Swiss army, we knew he would be in safe hands. We said goodbye to the Swiss girls, and also to PA and Dienne. Hopefully, in the future we will catch up with them two, as they have opened a dive shop on Koh Tao, and they have promised us all cheap dives. This means that I now have two new best friends !!! Later, in the evening, we all met for pizza at the Italian place and to say goodbye to Alex, Fred and Chris. As I said before, they run a great company and I highly recommend them to anyone. Even Dave made an appearance for the last supper. For the first time in ten days, he had showered and shaved. He did look better. Then again, so had I. It's amazing what a little soap can do !!!

In the morning, we said our goodbyes to Dave, Lisa, Brent and Bennet. They are off to Krabi for a couple of days. We however, jumped on another flight to the Kok. It wasn't a good trip as my ears are causing me some problems. Realistically, diving with a cold isn't the best thing, so my head and balance are a little fucked up. At least the bleeding has stopped !!! Back in the Kok, we grabbed a room, and hung out with Nan for the day as she had left the yacht earlier in the week. We put her mind at rest about Dave, as he was better when we left him in the morning. In the evening, we had one last meal of red snapper. It's kind of sad knowing that we are leaving here again to go back to London, but there is always somewhere different to go to and we are already planning a trip to Vimy Ridge. It was a great holiday, one that was needed, and one that we made some new friends out of which was an unexpected bonus.
