Oh yes, I can feel that kok all through my body. I am working up such a deep sweat. The taste of the kok in my mouth is unbelievable

Ok, enough of the bullshit, it's time to speak the truth. Lets get serious, well as serious as I can get !!!

The Reason

Dave who runs a dive shop in Bangkok. Everytime we go there, we always end up hanging in his shop, because it is the done thing. At the end of our last trip, Dave said, keep in contact as I am organising a dive trip on a yacht and I want you two to come along. Admittingly, we did have a holiday just a couple of months ago, but the offer that Dave put on the table was too good to be true.

The Trip

Once the idea was in our heads, I trawled the internet for some flights. Normally, I head straight for BA, but there have been so many taxes introduced recently, they were out of this jewboys range. My friend Danny told me to use Eva Air. I checked them out, and they were the best I could find, so I booked two seats straight away.

Using the words of George Orwell, all airport terminals are good, but some are better than others. Heathrow is huge. We flew out of terminal three, which is a right shithole. We waited for ages for our flight to appear on the board. Once it did, they chucked us on and

amazingly, we left on time. Fact, for scum class, they certainly give you loads of room, and the food was actually edible !!! However, there was no safety demonstration, but considering the amount of planes I have caught over the years, I'm sure I could do it myself. But still, it was a long flight and I only really dozed, unlike Lucy, who slept like a log !!! I was slightly concerned with the lack of sleep as Bangkok now has a new airport and being half dead and trying to find your way around for all the shit we need was going to be an adventure. Also, there is the other shit I don't really like. The time difference. Last time, we came overland, adding half hours/hours as we went. Overland, the only way to travel. I HATE FUCKING BEING JET LAGGED !!!

The new airport is huge, but does not look finished. Also, it doesn't feel right landing, not having someone besides you with a drver, slicing/hooking a golf ball towards your plane !!! Maybe they should consider building a new course as there is plenty of space !!!

Ok, as you all have gathered, we are now in Bangkok. Monday, we jump on a plane and head to Phuket and then board a yacht and head out to the Similan and Surin islands as well as  Hin Daeng and Hin Muang where there are meant to be loads of manta rays. What I really want to see is a sea horse, but I will accept a whale shark as a compromise !!! Beggars after all, can't be choosers !!!

After ten days of sailing and diving and eating and drinking ourselves silly, we fly back to the Kok, spend a day buying up big on Mekong whiskey for the boys, and then fly back to hopefully, sunny old London.

So once again Sandy, line up those coffees as we are back out and about !!!
