We jumped into our cab, and the Extemist was a nice fellow, who charged us less than we are used to paying. This was going good, but we have seen this before. We pulled up at the terminal, another Extremist pointed out our bus for us and Lucy went to claim our seats whilst I put the bags under the bus. Just as we split up, we both saw an Extremist woman in our seats, and Lucy was in no mood to take shit, so she was going to be kicked off. Once I had done my part, the bus boy pointed at my seat numbers and we agreed that 5-6 were ours. While I was putting the bags under, Lucy encountered the Extremist. She wouldn't move. In fact, she had no ticket. The Extremist driver said for Lucy to sit in 1-2, less legroom. Lucy looked at him and said fuck that, she can sit there. Lucy became a rock. Lucy did not move. The busboy got on the bus and dragged the Exremist out of our seat and into another. Do not mess with Lucy at 07:00 in the morning.
Kerman
The trip went smoothly and we were comfortable, and after a while, we arrived in Kerman. We picked our cab driver, agreed a price, and off we went. Once we arrived, I had only a 2 Khomeini note. The price was one Khomeini. He said he had no change. I went to get some. He put his hand in his pocket, and he had two fives. He only gave me one. I refused to give him his money. He gave me the other, went running into the hotel, started ranting in his Extremist language, so I grabbed him by the throat and chucked him out. We were given the quietest room so far in all of Iran !!!
We walked Kerman, it did not take very long. We saw the Jameh Mosque again, but it was not very special. We walked through the bazaar. It was not very special either. We had a look at a restored hamaam. There were wax dummies in there. It was the highlight of Kerman !!!
Rayen
Withthe demise of the Arg in Bam, the good old LP states that this is the place to be seen in, and as we want to be noticed, we had to go. We jumped in a cab in the morning and went to where the shared taxis are. We told these guys that we wanted to go to Rayen. They said Bam !!! Fuck me taxi drivers all over the world are fucking stupid !!! They then gave up a price. I told them to fuck off. We walked off, they were chasing us and the price was going down, but we found a man going our way, so one last flip of the finger and we were off. Our Extremist was not the fastest of drivers, but we got there in one piece. Now this Arg is completely made of mud, so we walked in and up for the photos. All over were old buildings where people used to live and where the army was stationed. It was excellent. The caretaker opened a few other buildings for us. We were running around loving this place and agreeing that the LP had got it's shit together and was right. This was the place to be seen and a few Extemists and 5 Infidels saw us there. After a couple of hours, we found another cab and went back to Kerman. It had been a great day, and we can highly recommend this Arg
Kerman
In Kerman, there are a few places that advertise trips to the desert, and we both thought that we could handle this. So before dinner, we went to visit the premier tour guide of Kerman. Whilst he was explaining his trip to us, a Spanish couple walked in and they to wanted to do a trip to the desert. It sounded really good, and then I asked him what type of 4x4 he used to go storming through the Iranian desert, and he explained that he did not have one and that it was an asphalt road that he would be using and we would be camping 100 metres away from the road ! The Spanish started murmuring in Spanish, we started talking in Aussie, and we all agreed to not go. One other thing he failed to mention, as we walked out the door, was that the guide we would be using could speak no English !!! Fuck, fuck, fuck that !!!!!
And that was the last we would see of that Extremist and Kerman. Our next stop is to be Bam. Home of a masive earthquake that killed around 26000 on the 26th of December 2003
