Upon landing at the airport, Jessica met us in her Swdemobile. The Volvo. What more would you expect !!!!! We went back to her house, had some beers and then hit The Dancing Dingo. As it was a popular place, there was a bit of a line, but once in, I peeled of my jacket, revealing my Wallaby jersey. Within minutes, I was surrounded by Swedes, wanting to buy me beers. VB's were coming non-stop. Jessica came out the toilet, and these 2 boys were amazed that they had met a proper Aussie in the toilets !!!!! I got pretty much pissed, very cheaply.
Next day, Jessica took us sight-seeing. I was hungover badly, so I kind of slept everywhere, but we stopped off at some nice little islands, and had some walks and we also found some frozen ponds, and as Lucy is an ice skater, she hadn't brought her skates with her, they were back at Jessica's flat, so she was kicking herself. Jessica drove, and then we arrived at her parents place. Her Dad had gone out and shot a moose and her was treating us to roast moose !!!!! Now I was still hungover, but the moose and veges went down well. A few shots of vodka, and it was time to move on, back to Jessicas.
As our flight was not leaving till late, we had a walk around the town. For the second largest city in Sweden, it was quite tiny. We eventually found the amusement park, Liseberg, and this time, Lucy had her skates. She enjoyed herself, while I froze !!!!! Back into the centre, Lucy found another small free rink, so she had another skate. Then it was time to leave. Pity, we had loads of fun, and we will be back
