Not a whole lot going on here in Brisbane.  Yesterday we went to another botanic garden and listened to some music from a music festival in the park. 

We're still using the facililities at City Backpackers Hostel.  Did laundry yesterday, made some pasta, rice, and cooked some meat the other day. 

We spent $400 on a package through a travel agent that allows us a number of different trips as we move north.  A canoe trip in the Australian Everglades, Sailing in the Whitsundays, and a 4WD adventure on Fraser Island.  I think we got a pretty sweet deal considering the sailing trip alone sells for $459.  We added how much money we've spent to this point.  Mine was like $650 (before the $400 and not including the car).  Which equates to about $30 a day, which isn't bad at all. 

I hung around the pool for a good portion of the day and talked to a ton of Germans.  Seems about everyone at the hostel is German.  Tomorrow we're heading to Noosa Heads.
