I tell ya, sometimes travelling is pretty tough going. This isn't one of those times! We arrived at Railay on Friday morning after another overnight bus ride (from Bangkok). The west beach on Railay has been listed in the Lonely Planet as the nicest beach in Thailand, and I can see why. Its pretty idyllic here - palm trees, clear warm water, soft sandy beaches, and amazing karsts dotted about. Not a bad way to spend some time!! We have quickly settled into a routine of sleeping in, wandering to the beach, playing frsibee in the sea, napping in hammocks, and stuffing ourselves with lovely BBQ fish. I tell you, its a tough life!
We will be here for another couple of days and then we are heading south to Georgetown, Malaysia. We've booked flights to Borneo for May 9 - 21 which leaves us nearly three weeks to work our way through peninsular Malaysia.
Not much else to tell you all - laying on the beach doesn't really create a lot of gossip. Our biggest decision of the day at the moment seems to be which type of ice cream we should have!
Will write more soon -
All our love,
K & M

Lazy So & Sos!!!
It must be rough--chocolate , heavenly hash, maple or what? I tracked down the tickets and they are safely on hold in Summerside. I've talked to C. and it is in her hands now. Enjoy the breeze under those palm trees but DO CHECK to see if any nuts are ready to fall. Love Momma & John
