Hi All -
Well, we've made it safe and sound and in one piece. We've been busy in Hong Kong over the last few days - mostly eating it seems though!! We went up the Peak on Sunday night, it was amazing to see the skyline lit up at night. On Monday we took the bus to the other side of the island and went to Aberdeen and Repulse Bay, as well as we caught the light show from the Kowloon side that night. Today we spent the day on Lantau island at the Tian Tin (sp?) "Big Buddha". Its the largest bronze sitting Buddha in the world. It was beautiful - even despite all the tourist tat being sold. Our impressions of Hong Kong are: holy moley there are a lot of tall buildings here!! They are EVERYWHERE! It is very strange to see a 50+ storey skyscraper perched on the side of a mountain. Our accommodation is.....well.....small. Bijou would be a nice way to describe it. Pictures to follow, if we can manage it. Suffice it to say, I have never seen a smaller room or loo - even in a camper or a train.
We are off to the races tomorrow night in Happy Valley and possibly to do some sight seeing in Kowloon tomorrow. On Thursday we head to Macau and then fly to Kuala Lumpur (and then Hanoi) later on that night. Will post more once we arrive in Vietnam.

Hong Kong
We are glad to hear you are supporting the educational system in Hong Kong by attending the trots. Your Grandfather would be so proud of you Karyn. Keep looking UP and take lots of pictures. Sorry to hear Malx had to sleep in the fetal position. Maybe your next place will be a little larger! - Momma & John
Happy Travelling
Hi Karyn and Malcolm,
Sounds like your having a great trip thus far. Keep us all posted and both of you take care. Your starting your adventure the same time as the Amazing Race on TV. Have fun and all the best.
