That's better. Roxi's cleaning and tending her feet. I bet they get pretty dried out in this clay. But, she doesn't seem to be favouring them. I check them periodically for wear and tear, but, she seems to be doing okay
I'm finally, ready for dinner. It will help to warm us up...(using the stove...), and eating it, of course ;0)
I was staring at the stars tonight before slipping under all my covers... the stars, a twinkling mass of strobing lights, and the planes streaking here, there and everywhere over head are so surreal. I saw a few falling stars, and finally thought of a wish...shhh, can't tell.
I've heard it said that when people feel the immensity of the world around them, it's raw beauty, power and rage, they feel inconsequential. I don't get that at all. I feel so alive, and so connected to it all. How can you feel inconsequential when connected to such a living and breathing entity? I feel HUGE! Not self-important. Just a part of it all, and it fills all the holes up inside. I feel warm and alive with hope and joy. That's how my night of roughing it by the highway has inspired me tonight. I just love this planet!
