A quick update before we head off tomorrow for Fraser Island self drive 4x4 trip with Sean, Cogan, Tex and the Swedes.  We arrived in Rainbow Beach yesterday from Noosa.  It was pretty cool, a really small town right against a long wicked beach.  There was live music (three acoustic guitars and a didgeridoo) playing at the hostel from 8-10pm and a resonable bar in our hostel.  Sean and i got predictably wasted with a british girl named Claire who took the bus with us from Surfers Paradise.

Aside from the worst sleep of my life, and the loudest snoorer ive ever heard in my life, it was a good overnight stay.  this morning at 8:30am we trekked it up to Hervey Bay, where our embarassingly gay pink bus picked us up (all our fraser island trucks are pink, mentally preparing myself for the barrage of gay jokes) and brought us to our hostel.  Just gonna shower up and go buy a pallet of liqour for our trip tomorrow.  updates to come in another week or so.  Miss u guys back home, hope your enjoying a killer snowboarding season
